I've always had a love for photography but started getting serious about it since starting my interiors blog and having a purpose for my photos. I believe that to create meaningful images you need to utilise the light available to best effect, and this is how I capture the mood and atmosphere of what's happening in the moment. Here's what to expect:
Quirky composition and sensitive editing offering new and different perspectives
Capture real authentic moments
Tell a story and evoke emotions
No photoshop - just some post-editing in Light Room (basically the digital equivalent of using film cameras & dark rooms)
Not many of us actually enjoy posing for the camera but I love finding ways to help my subjects feel relaxed and at ease so they get great natural shots of themselves for their websites or social media. After all it really helps people get to know us. See more portraits here.
Documentary style photography for events is one of my favourite things to shoot as I love capturing those fleeting moments that are easily forgotten. Parties, gigs, weddings and dance performance, click here to see more of my work.
Nearly all the photos on my blog are taken by me. I love capturing rooms as a whole in new perspectives and honing in on the vignettes to discover more about the people who live there.
Objects can tell their own narratives about the humans that have created them. Products or service-based businesses, I'll work closely with you so we can communicate your brand better visually to your audience. More brand photography here.
I think it's important to build great rapport with my photography clients and love nothing more than hearing how they have been over the moon with what I've created for them...
